Will your designs work on my machine?
We are unable to give advice on specific machines and software, your machine should accept one of the formats that we offer.
You will need the appropriate HARDWARE/SOFTWARE for your machine brand to use these designs. Examples include your embroidery software, USB flash drive, or a reader/writer box such as Magic or Amazing box, etc. to transfer the design from your computer to your embroidery machine.
Our designs are offered via instant download only. We do not offer CD’s or floppy discs.
You must know your machine’s HOOP SIZE capabilities. Please only purchase designs based on the hoop sizes available to use for your machine.
For assistance in transferring designs to your machine, and other operating questions for your machine or software, please refer to your manual or embroidery machine or software dealer. Please note that we are UNABLE TO SUPPORT EVERY VERSION OF EVERY SOFTWARE ON THE MARKET, and cannot advise on software. Please contact your support system for your specific software issue.
Our designs have been tested and we ask you to please send your design directly to your machine prior to contacting us to ensure that the design shows in your machine.
Which machine formats are available?
Our design sets are offered in the following machine formats: pes, dst, exp, hus, jef, pcs, sew, vip, vp3 and xxx . You will receive ALL of these formats in ONE ZIP FILE. You will need to unzip the folder to use the designs
What brand of thread do you recommend?
We recommend using Floriani polyester thread. Robison-Anton and Madeira are also quality threads, as well as many other great threads that are available.
I don’t know what format I need… do you?
Here is a chart of common machine brands and the design formats they need:

Note: we do not include ART formats in your downloaded file. Please ask your dealer what other formats you can use for your machine.
I have two embroidery machines. Can I purchase my designs in two formats?
Our designs include all major formats in your download file.
What software do you use to create your designs?
We use several quality digitizing software programs to create our designs. All designs are 100% manually digitized and tested as many times as necessary to provide you with the highest quality designs.
I received my designs and the thread colors do not look like the image!
This is not uncommon at all. It is due to the fact that each format has its own color palette… and they can be quite different from one format to another.
Often times, upon conversion to your format, the original colors of the designs will change and vary from format to format. That is the reason why color charts are provided with each design set. If you follow the color chart provided, the design will stitch out in the appropriate colors.

I purchased a design in 4×4 and need it enlarged/reduced. Can you do that?
We do not do custom work at this time. The designs are only available in the sizes that they were released in.
There are many good editing programs available… and your machine software may allow you to enlarge/reduce. We recommend that you do NOT change the design size more than 20% to maintain the integrity.
Please be advised that if you do edit or resize your designs, YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. Embroidery Village is not responsible for any editing of designs.

My hard drive crashed. I lost all of my designs. Can you resend them please?
You can log into your account and re-download any of your designs that you have purchased.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Paypal. You can use all major credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express) through Paypal. You do not need to have a Paypal account to use a credit card.
Embroidery Village.com uses a secure SSL encryption to process orders.
We are sorry, but we do not accept checks or money orders. All orders are placed and processed online through Paypal.
Do you offer refunds or exchanges?
Due to the digital nature of our products and the ability for reproduction, refunds are not offered.

How will I receive my designs?
Your designs are delivered via instant download.
After you purchase and pay for your designs, you will receive an email confirmation containing your download links, and your account will hold your order history. Download links never expire. If you have any difficulties, please do not hesitate to contact us.
I’m having trouble downloading my designs. Can you help?

Do you offer custom digitizing?
Sorry, we do not offer custom digitizing at this time.
CAN I TEACH A CLASS USING YOUR DESIGNS?
We do allow the use of our designs for embroidery and sewing classes. Each student in the class MUST purchase the design for their personal use and therefore will have a Single User License to use the design. Sharing designs is NOT allowed.
Will your website let me know if I’ve already purchased a design?
Yes! We are happy to offer this service. Please be sure you are logged in to your account when shopping. If you try to put an item into your shopping cart, you will get a pop up indicating that you have already purchased that design.
If you are NOT logged in when shopping, then when you get to your shopping cart and are prompted to log in, your shopping cart will alert you if there is something in there that has already been purchased and will ask you to remove it from your cart prior to proceeding to checkout.
